Dear Reader,
I'll be launching something exciting soon...
Starting next week, I will be officially launching my advice column, Dear Zoe!!!! I always loved advice columns growing up and I’m super excited to start one myself! I absolutely adore when someone asks for my advice and often find myself giving it out without anyone asking! So now I’ll drop it here for anyone to see.
My goal is to provide readers with kind, thoughtful, and humorous advice with practical steps for dealing with a particular situation. I’ve been in therapy for a while now and my therapist said I’ve made progress so I’m basically an authority on how to be normal and deal with life in a super well-adjusted way! Plus, I’m the eldest daughter in my family so you know I have my shit together.
Inquiries can be as silly or serious as you’d prefer. I won’t be collecting email addresses in the advice form so questions will be anonymous. I can’t wait to hear about your life!
Some months I might choose a theme for the advice. For example, advice about family in December, self-help in January, love in February. But feel free to submit questions at any time in case I shake it up or it would better fit with an upcoming theme.
The first question I’ll be answering will be about someone who is exhausted by her friend’s hanger-on of an ex-boyfriend:
Dear Zoe,
I have a friend who finally dumped her terrible boyfriend. Now, he won’t stop texting her. Night and day he sends long paragraphs either trying to make her feel terrible for breaking his heart or apologizing and trying to win her back. Our friend group keeps telling her to block his number, but she won’t do it. How do we help her to end her connection to this man once and for all?
Sincerely,
An Exhausted Friend
I’ll share how I’d handle Exhausted Friend’s situation next week…
Xoxo - Zoe <3
